Full profile creation
Photo, bio, interest tags, and what you are looking for. Specific interests are encouraged: they are a more reliable compatibility signal than photos alone, and the best conversation starters.
Member browsing and search
Browse members by location, interests, age, and other filters. Basic search is available to everyone. VIP and VIP+ members unlock advanced filters for more precise matching.
Like and match
Like profiles you are interested in. When it is mutual, you match and can start messaging. No games, no complex decision trees, no pressure to perform.
Free ID verification
Every member can verify their identity free of charge and display a verified badge. Knowing someone is verified makes it easier to decide whether to connect. Safety tools are never paywalled.
Messaging and communication
Secure private messaging
Send and receive messages with your matches. Written communication by default, no video call pressure and no voice note requirements. Communicate in the format that suits you.
Unlimited messaging (VIP)
Free members can receive messages and send a limited number per day. VIP and VIP+ members have no message limit. It is the most common reason members upgrade.
Block and report
Block any member at any time; they can no longer see your profile or message you. Reports go straight to the moderation team. No explanation required: block first, the team handles the rest.
No expiry mechanics
There is no 24-hour match expiry on Spectrum Singles. Message when you are ready. No urgency pressure is built into the communication mechanics.
Visibility and discovery
See who viewed your profile (VIP)
A list of members who have visited your profile, and who has liked you, even before you match. Removes the guesswork from who is interested.
Priority profile placement (VIP)
VIP and VIP+ members appear higher in search results and browse listings, increasing visibility to other members.
Boosted visibility (VIP+)
VIP+ profiles appear higher across search and browse feeds, running continuously rather than as a one-off 24-hour boost, so more members see you.
Travel mode (VIP+)
Travelling to another city or country? Switch your location temporarily to browse members in your destination before you arrive.
Community and support
Community feed and guides
An activity feed of posts, photos and articles from the community, plus the Spectrum Singles guides. A low-pressure way to see what is happening without direct interaction. All tiers.
Human support
A real support team you can reach when you need help, not an automated bot loop. All tiers.
Super Match (VIP+)
Highlight one member per day as a Super Match, a clear signal that you are particularly interested. Super Matches appear prominently in the recipient's notifications.
Early access to new features (VIP+)
VIP+ members are the first to try new platform features before they roll out to everyone, and to shape them through early feedback.
