A free account here is a real account, not a locked demo. You can create a full profile, add photos, answer the compatibility questions, browse every member in your area, and read and reply to the messages that come in. Free members also get ID verification at no cost, because safety should never sit behind a paywall.

Why the free tier is genuinely free

Plenty of dating sites advertise free registration and then hide the message button. We do not. The only meaningful limit on a free account is how many new conversations you can start each day. If you date slowly, talk to one or two people at a time, and prefer a long conversation to constant swiping, the free tier may well be all you ever need. There is no trial clock counting down, and no card details are required to join.

When VIP is worth £6.99 a month

VIP suits members who are actively looking rather than browsing. Unlimited messaging removes the daily cap on new conversations. Advanced search filters let you narrow by the things that genuinely matter to you, including distance, interests, and how someone prefers to communicate. Read receipts and profile view history take a lot of the guesswork out of early conversations, which is often the part neurodivergent daters find most draining. Priority member support means a real person answers faster if something goes wrong. At £6.99 a month, or £2.99 a week if you would rather not commit to a full month, VIP costs less than a round of drinks on a date that was never going to work out.

What VIP+ adds on top

VIP+ is for members who want to be seen. Boosted profile visibility and priority placement in search put your profile in front of more of the right people. Super Match surfaces the members our matching system rates as your strongest fits, rather than simply the ones who logged in most recently. Travel mode lets you switch your search location before a trip so you can line up conversations in advance. Early access means you get new features before anyone else. VIP+ is £7.99 a month or £3.99 a week, which works out at £1 a month more than VIP.

Billing, currencies and cancelling

Prices on this page are shown in pounds sterling. Members in the United States and Australia are charged the local equivalent at checkout, so the figure on your statement may move slightly with exchange rates. Every charge is discreet: the descriptor on your bank statement does not name Spectrum Singles. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time from your account settings in under a minute. There is no cancellation fee, no retention phone call, and no form asking you to explain yourself. Billing simply stops at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep your VIP features until that date.
